With family or friends, stay in the heart of the Dordogne
In high season, the rental includes the two gîtes, the garden and the swimming pool. In mid and low season, it is possible to rent only the sheepfold or the tobacco dryer (the other gîte will then be unavailable to ensure your peace of mind). You will also have access to the garden and, from May to September, to the swimming pool.
Within a radius of less than ten kilometers, in pretty little villages, you will find all the basic shops as well as richly stocked markets which will introduce you to the specialties of the region.
In terms of activities and leisure activities, you will be spoiled for choice: canoeing on the Dordogne or the Vézère, prehistoric sites, caves, chasms, listed villages, medieval castles, leisure parks, hiking trails, cycling, hot air balloons...
Unless you prefer relaxing in a deckchair by the pool with a good novel before the inevitable aperitif around a good brazier!
